What happens when I enter the Steam & Sun?

On paying your entrance fee at reception you have several choices, you can either go directly into the lounge and choose a girl and then go straight for your massage. You may wish to use our facilities first, in which case you will need to get changed into the towel provided, keeping your clothes in the locker room, and then use the facilities as you please. You may also decide to have a drink in the lounge before choosing the girl either before or after using the facilities. You can remain in your towel whilst in the bar if you wish its quite normal.

What happens when I have chosen my masseuse?

Once you have chosen your masseuse she will then escort you to a private room or penthouse suite and discuss with you your requirements and duration. You will need to pay for your massage upfront before your service starts, this is a strict company policy so please don't be offended by this.

Do I have to have a massage?

No you can come to the club just to use the spa facilities and relax in the Bar / lounge if you wish. However be warned, very rarely does anyone resist the temptation of a massage once they are in the lounge. Some people use steam and sun as a place to come after a night out in order to freshen up or before going to work or catching a train.

Do I have to go into the lounge to choose the masseuse?

The lounge and bar area can be a slightly intimidating place, when sometimes there are 20 ladies in the room, and making a choice can be difficult. If you prefer you can ask for the girl by name at reception and then she will be called up saving you the need to go to the lounge.

Do I have to pay in advance for my massage?

Yes, please bring your monies or card with you and pay the girl directly before you start your service. You may extend your service once your first session is up but you will still need to pay again beforehand.

Can I have more than one masseuse at any time?

Yes you can have as many masseuse as are available, obviously you will have to pay each girl the standard fee. If you plan on having more than 2 girls at once then we suggest you take one of our penthouse suites. Please leave some girls for our other clients though.

If I bring my friend can we have a massage together?

Yes, however you must each have a separate masseuse at any one time. In the standard rooms you can have upto 2 guys with 2 girls but in the penthouse suites you can have a group massage with 4 guys and as many girls as you wish.

How hygienic is the Steam and Sun? What measures are taken, if any, to ensure a high standard of hy

Steam and Sun proudly maintain a hygiene level similar to that of any hospital. All sheets and towels are sent to a specialist cleaners after each guest visit. The high-tech machines inject a highly potent anti-bacterial disinfectant and linen is washed at the highest possible temperature to ensure cleanliness. Our ladies are also very well aware of hygiene and health risks and will take precautions in all cases, they also have the right to decline a service if they feel their is a health risk.

I am concerned about privacy?

The most common reasons many people give for waiting so long to visit Steam and Sun is a concern about privacy. Rest assured that great consideration is taken to ensure absolute discretion while you are with us - in fact, many celebrities and well-known athletes visit us for that very reason. You can go straight from reception into a private suite and leave from without having to see anybody else. We would not have been in business for over 30 years if we were to disrespect our customers discretion.

Can I book my massage at my hotel?

We only cater for in house visits, the ladies work with us because we provide a safe and secure environment for them to work within. Their security is very important to them and to us and this is why we do not offer out-calls. Besides, our suites are up to hotel standard and in fact its cheaper for you to come to us than for an escort to visit you in your hotel. Not to mention that you will rarely have a choice, or be able to have a chat, before choosing an escort. Also you are very unlikely to have the same girl you saw in the photo actually turn up at your hotel!

Why are you more expensive than most other places?

How much is your peace of mind worth to you? How much is it worth to you to have a simple fresh clean towel / bedding that have not been used by several other people before you? How much is it worth to you that the facilities you are using are professionally cleaned? Or that the place you are visiting is licensed & regulated? or that you are in a safe, secure and friendly environment where security staff are there for your safety and not to intimidate you? We set our prices higher because we simply provide a better quality experience but also to attract a better quality clientele. if you are looking for a cheap experience we would encourage you to visit one of our cheaper competitors.

Can I have a massage in the Sauna or Steam room?

No, the massage can only take place in the private massage rooms or suites . This is for health / safety / privacy reasons.

Do you have access for disabled guests?

Yes, however only for massage services, spa and changing facilities are not yet wheelchair friendly. We will do our best to accommodate you though. please call reception beforehand to reserve a ground floor room. we do not charge any entry fees for our disabled customers.

Can I leave and re-enter the Club?

Yes once you have paid the entrance fee you can come and go as you please.

Is there any dress code?

No, you may enter wearing anything you like, bearing mind you will likely end up dressed in a towel or robe anyway. Our security team may refuse anybody we suspect of being heavily intoxicated, offensive or hygienically challenged.

When does my time start?

You massage starts from when you have entered the private room; it is not from the time that you enter the premises this allows you to enjoy the facilities, maybe have a drink at the bar and then decide which girl you like. The girls pay a fee for the use of the rooms and so please don't be offended if after your time is up they will not offer a "few more minutes" if you wish to go over the first session limit you must pay for a new session.

Can i just come in for a drink at the bar?

Although we have a licensed bar it is secondary to our main business. we do not not wish to have the bar full of people only interested in a drink. we set our bar prices relatively high in order to discourage this. The bar is there simply for the benefit of customers waiting for their friends or masseuse. We suggest you visit a pub if you simply want to have a drink.

Can I bring a female friend?

We sometimes allow a client to bring a female friend or even spouse but only on the condition that they rent one of our private suites. This is because our spa and changing areas are male only and it would be inappropriate to allow female guests into the same area.

Can I prepay for a friend / client to visit

Payments for massage services must be made directly to the girl of the clients choice, however we do sell cash vouchers which you can give to a friend as a gift which can then be used throughout the club in order to pay for entrance fees, drinks, massage fees etc.

Will i be pressured into a massage?

No, our policy is to let you decide for yourself, many people expect or are used to being approached by several girls as soon as they enter the club. This is not the case here, in fact the girls will not usually approach you, apart from a welcoming hello, until you ask one of them to join you or to go for a massage. You can sit and chant to any girl in the lounge as you please however. Some people feel a little intimidated by the sight of several girls in a room, just relax and take your time and don't be shy about asking a girl for a massage, they will be happy you have chosen them.

What will appear on my card statement?

Your statement will show “S&S NW1 London” please be aware that if you call your card company for further details they will disclose the full name & address details of our club.

What if i have a problem with one of the ladies?

We very rarely get any complaints about any of our ladies. Given that there is no better place for them to work in london the girls are very happy to have a job with us and happy girls provide the best service. However, sometimes we may have a complaint about a new girl and if this is repeated we may dismiss her in order that we maintain our quality of service. The girls are paid for their time and not for any result, once the time booked is finished then she will be in her rights to leave the room, if a client is abusive towards our staff in anyway they will be asked to leave without refund.

Can i book a masseuse for a specific day?

Our ladies are employed on a self employed basis and as such can pick and choose which days they wish to work, usually 1 week in advance. If the lady you wish to see is not on the rota then it is unlikely that she will be working on that day. However, if you leave a message with reception they will pass on the details to the lady and if she is willing to see you on that day then thats fine with us. Our ladies work on a shift basis and we do not offer a specific time booking system, if she is busy when you arrive you are welcome to wait in the lounge until she is free, however we can not guarantee how long the wait will be. The standard time is for 30minutes but some clients have been know to stay all night and so if they wish to extend their time then they are given priority. We are usually not so busy before 9pm and as such the earlier you come the more chance you have of a specific girl being available. If however, you are known and have the ladies private number and she wishes to wait for you at a specific time that is fine with us.

Can I stay overnight in the penthouse suite?

You can stay in the room as long as you have a girl booked in with you, in some cases this could be for several hours. However, if you are looking for a place to sleep it would be a lot cheaper to get a hotel, we are not licensed to allow overnight guests to sleep alone in the club.
